In particular, please show responsibility for others and comply with the rules of politeness. To prevent any discords, we also ask you to strictly adhere to the subsequent rules and regulations, which form our General Terms and Conditions.
On our car parks, the German Road Traffic Regulations [Straßenverkehrsordnung (StVO)] apply.
To guarantee smooth flow of traffic on these parking areas, the instructions of the car park attendants must be followed strictly. Please park your vehicle solely within the marking of a parking bay. If you park your vehicle outside of the lines indicated and thus severely obstruct other traffic, we will have your vehicle towed away at your risk and expenses. The parking fee is charged for the right to use the parking space (parking lot) provided; it does, however, not include safeguarding your vehicle. Therefore please make sure that when you leave your vehicle all doors, the boot, windows and sliding roof window are closed and that no valuables or other objects are left in view in the vehicle. We also ask you not to leave any pets or other animals in the car. We cannot be held liable for any damages incurred due to unforeseen or extraordinary events such as, e.g. storm, hail, explosion and fire, and we will not replace cars stolen or damaged by third parties. This does not apply if the damage is caused by gross negligence or intentionally by employees of our Park. Damages will only be compensated if you notify our personnel of them prior to leaving the car park.
Entrance to the area of the Park is permitted only to holders of a valid entrance ticket entering at the visitors’ entrances marked as such. No children under the age of 8 will be admitted to the Park unless they are accompanied by an adult supervising them at all times. Admission tickets must be retained at all times during your stay and submitted for inspection upon request. The day tickets purchased at the box office are valid only on the day of their purchase. Once you leave the Park area, your day ticket becomes invalid. Re-entry is possible only upon presentation of a valid hand stamp. Our entrance prices are all-inclusive and visitors may use all ride attractions operating, watch all shows and films and visit all themed attractions as often as they please. The admission price includes VAT/GST. Different discounts cannot be combined.People who appear or are drunk or drugged may be refused admission, banned from entry to or moved from the area of the Park without the right to either a full or partial refund of the entrance fee paid.
a) Dogs are welcome but they must always be on a lead. Otherwise, the Dog Control Order [Hundeverordnung] of the Federal State of Schleswig-Holstein as amended will apply. For hygiene reasons dogs are only admitted to the area of the Park if their owners carry something to clean up after them. No dogs are allowed in shows, on rides and in specially marked Park areas. No other pets or animals of any nature are allowed in the Park.
b) The regulations issued by the fire authorities that apply within the Park must be strictly adhered to. In particular you are not allowed to make fires of any kind. Smoking is prohibited in all buildings, waiting areas and restaurants. Barbecuing is prohibited in the entire Park area. In the trappers’ camp, barbecuing is possible only on the barbecuing facilities provided by the Park upon prior registration.
c) We wish to ensure that the Park facilities remain a beautiful place for everyone to enjoy. Visitors are therefore asked not to leave the pathways and places.
d) Possessing and carrying of weapons or other dangerous objects (pistols, knives, chains, knuckle dusters, etc.) is prohibited in the entire Park area.
e) It is in your own interest to strictly follow the instructions of the Park’s personnel.
f) Causing unnecessary noise in the Park is prohibited and the volume of music devices must be kept down.
g) For the safety of all guests, skateboarding, inline skating or using rollers of any kind is prohibited in the area of the Park.
h) For reasons of liability you are not permitted, except with our prior written consent, to use powered mobility aids of any kind such as, e.g. electric vehicles or electric wheelchairs as orthopaedic aids, within the area of the park.
i) For safety reasons our attractions are camera-surveyed and video-surveyed.
j) All visitors must wear outer clothes and footware.
k) Alcoholic beverages are not allowed in the Park.
l) Smoking areas: For the well-being of our little guests please smoke in the designated areas only.
We wish to offer all our guests a carefree and safe stay. You can assist us in ensuring that by being polite and considerate towards other visitors to the Park. Please do not insult anyone and do not entertain dangerous, prohibited or offensive behaviour. Always wear appropriate clothing, including shoes and outer wear. The facilities in operation at the Park are at your disposal however we ask you to adhere to the relevant terms of use. Please observe all warning notes/signs and safety regulations which are affixed at the entrance to the attractions as well as any instructions the operating staff may give. In the event you wilfully do not adhere to the terms of use and operating instructions as well as the instructions of the operating staff, the latter may prevent you from using the attraction without any right to refund or claim for compensation on your part. The same will apply if you try to jump queue. You will be held liable for any damages incurred by not observing the instructions of use or wanton damage.
For some rides special regulations regarding minimum size, required age and physical condition apply. These regulations have been imposed by the authorities and the TÜV, Germany’s technical testing and certification body. In particular, they apply to our disabled guests! Please note that caretakers and disabled guests who meet the requirements in principal will have to decide at their own discretion if an attraction is suitable for them. Please also note that caretakers will be held liable for the actions of the guests entrusted to their care.
You may use the ride attractions, shows, films and other attractions as often as you wish. In order not to put waiting guests at a disadvantage, the attractions must be left after each use and re-entered at the relevant entrance. Taking photos on or in the attractions using a flashlight and, in addition, recording videos in the shows, is prohibited. No food and beverages are allowed on and in the attractions and shows. Smoking is prohibited in all waiting areas, shows and in/on all attractions as well as in all restaurants.
In the event of strong winds, impaired visibility, thunderstorms and special weather conditions, we reserve the right to stop the operation of certain facilities or attractions for the safety of our visitors. Attractions and facilities may be closed for renovation or due to TÜV [German Technical Control Board] inspections, and parades and shows may be postponed or cancelled without prior notice. If individual attractions break down or have to be closed due to force majeur such as, e.g. power cuts, thunderstorms and/or gales as well as due to maintenance and repair work, etc., no refund or partial refund of the entrance price will be made, no compensation will be paid and the entrance price will not be reduced.
The use of playing equipment, play areas and other facilities is at the user’s own risk.
We ask all parents and group-accompanying supervisors to carefully observe their duty of supervision as we cannot release them from that obligation. Within this context, supervising persons and parents will be held responsible for any damages caused by the persons they are taking care of. Never leave your children unattended.
We can only be held liable for damages caused intentionally and by gross negligence on the part of our staff. In particular, we will not be liable for any objects brought along. The limitation in liability does not apply in the event of risks to life, body and health. We will not be liable for objects passed to employees or left in the Park.
All facilities in the Park are carefully maintained and monitored. Should you nevertheless incur damages without any fault on your part, please report the damage to Information prior to leaving the Park area. Please also report to Information if you have reason to believe that damages may arise from an incident at a later date. No compensation for damages will be paid if damages, which could have possibly and reasonably been reported earlier, are reported after leaving the Park area.
Advertising and offering goods and services on the Park area and the Park’s car parks is only allowed if prior written approval by the management has been granted. That rule also applies to the conducting of surveys and counts. The promotion and announcements of organisations, associations, pressure groups and one’s own ideas by whatever means on the Park area, the car park as well as in the buildings and on rides, etc. are prohibited. Any person violating these rules will be punished and banned or ejected from the Park, prosecuted under civil law as well as charged with criminal offence on the grounds of trespassing.
HANSA-PARK will film and take photographs however, as far as possible, the areas and attractions involved will be designated. Please avoid these areas if you do not wish your photo to be taken and displayed in public or tell the photographer/film team that you do not want it. If you do not do so, we assume that we may make use of the pictures free of charge. We can also take a photo of the objecting visitor so that we know who does not wish any publication, display or use of his/her photo in the audio-visual or printed media or online.
The Park has the right to ban from the Park area without refund any persons, who violate the Park’s rules and regulations or who are caught inside the Park without a valid entrance ticket. People who harass or molest other visitors, use the facilities without observing the relevant terms of use or do not follow the instructions of the staff, will be banned or ejected from the Park area. Claims for compensation of the entrance fee will not be entertained, not even in part.
